In this brand new series Derren Brown is at his most devilish, having persuaded members of the public to sign a Faustian pact with him and participate in a macabre game of Trick or Treat. In this week's opening episode, Richard, having chosen a "Trick" card, is put to sleep in a photo booth in London only to awake again in Marrakech.

Derren's twisted take on Trick or Treat continues with Andy, an IT consultant who has his otherwise ordered world turned upsidedown by being given the experience of a split personality. Also, Derren invites Guardian art critic Adrian Searle to slash through a priceless work of art by BritArt "enfants terribles" Jake and Dinos Chapman, and goes shopping in New York with a wallet full of blank pieces of paper.
Episode 3 - 23'58"
This week non-poker-playing North London pensioner Anne is in for a treat as Derren teaches her to play Texas Hold 'Em poker and enters her into a professional tournament. Derren becomes a living waxwork in Madame Tussauds in London and visits a Las Vegas nightclub where he makes a woman temporarily 'colour-blind'.
Episode 4 - 23'58"
This week Yshani, a young Sri-Lankan woman, selects a "Treat" card and is taught to play the piano to concert standard and performs a recital at Wigmore Hall after only two weeks of lessons with Derren. Derren also disguises himself as a waiter in New York, and attempts some psychic reading with his lunchtime customers. And actor Simon Callow is this week's high-profile guest who falls under Derren's influence.

Derren's game of Trick or Treat continues as Steve is shown the darker side of London life by being given an opportunity to live life as a "street" madman. Martin Freeman is shown the power that new-age crystals can hold, while in America Derren predicts the behaviour of a large crowd of accountants.
Episode 6 - 23'59"
In the last episode of the current series, psychologist Jules chooses a "Trick" card and finds herself witnessing her own death in a staged out-of-body experience. Derren travels to Queens in New York to see if he can tell when a group of second-hand car salesman are lying, and back in London he tries to plant a single thought in the heads of a crowd in Covent Garden.
